Hi All! Starting this Sunday, and for the next two Sunday’s, I’m going to post some Thanksgiving looks. I know how hard it can be to decide what to wear to a family party. This weeks look is titled, The Host. If you’re hosting a big Thanksgiving at your home, this outfit is a go to! Lets take a look..         Dress: Monteau | Cardigan: Onyx | Shoes: Prada Hosting a party is hard enough, you shouldn’t have to worry about what you’re wearing. Motivation Monday!

Today’s inspirational quote to start the week is about always being yourself. In today’s society it’s so easy to conform to norms, to buy what everyone else is buying and do what everyone else is doing. Let’s be real, it’s why everyone who had an upgrade on their phone went out and stood on a line or pre-ordered an iPhone 6. It’s more challenging to be different. Just because you like something and someone else doesn’t, it is not a bad thing. You don’t need everyone to like you and in fact, even if you try your hardest, everyone still won’t…

Motivation Monday!

This weekend I was lucky enough to be off both Saturday and Sunday, which only happens once a month. I love having two jobs + my blog (which is not a job because my heart is always here, I truly love this). My point of this being, I love running into pleasant, happy and kind strangers. With two days off, I did a lot of blog prep and running around. Sunday I went shopping with my mom and we met a woman in the dressing room. She was asking our opinion on clothes and was just so nice. Fashion Friday: So New York

This outfit reminds me of the Power Women I always see running around New York City. They’re in their high, high heels and they’re running around on a mission. It’s also happens to be the perfect look for a casual Friday in the office. Let’s check it out.. Blazer: Forever 21, similar | Blouse: H&M | Denim: AG | Shoes: Vince Camuto, similar | Bag: Chanel | Belt: Hermes I’m so addicted to blazers, I can’t stop buying them. Grey is definitely a have-to-have color this season, and I loved that this blazer wasn’t structured like the blazers I usually…

Pumpkin Picking is in the Air!

I’m going to go over a look that’s perfect for fall festivities! Apple picking, pumpkin picking, a fall themed party – this outfit is situationally appropriate. Let’s take a look.. Shirt: Rails | Sweater: Forever 21, similar | Denim: James Jeans, similar | Shoes: Schutz | Handbag: Chloe, similar When I think of pumpkin or apple picking outfits it’s always classic denim, a warm colored plaid shirt and brown boots, maybe a brown leather jacket and an off white scarf depending on the weather. In fact, that’s what I wore last year. This year, I wanted to take a less standard, edgier approach, and…

Motivation Monday!

You know when something just speaks to you? That was this quote. You cannot appreciate the good that you have in your life without the pain, struggle and heartache. Darkness is such a beautiful gift. I swear by the fact that people who have had everything given to them and have never had to deal with anything, CANNOT truly understand how good your soul feels when things are good. When shit is bad, say your in-between jobs, struggling with money, struggling in your relationships, death, dealing with betrayal – it sucks, its depressing, painful and it just plain sucks. The…
