Motivation Monday!

I don’t know about you, but I can’t stand people who always have to be right. I get it, I don’t enjoy being wrong either but come on, you can’t be right all the time. I think it’s our tendency, and human nature, to want to be right. We want to say the right thing, do the right thing, be the right person and know all the answers (unless your a serial killer – kidding, kind of). The reality of that is, you just can’t know everything, you can’t always do the right thing and people will respect your for…

Thanksgiving at Someone Else’s Home, Style: The Guest

I don’t know about you, but when I eat during Thanksgiving, I don’t stop. It’s the most disgusting day of the year food wise, as I always eat until I’m about to pop. So with the next outfit I chose, I took that into consideration. I went with a oversized sweater and a skirt that sits above my stomach (Haha), lets take a look.. Sweater: Guess | Skirt: Alythea | Booties: Tory Burch, similar This outfit is so easy to throw on for dinner with your family. It’s important to look nice but to also be comfortable, especially if you’re…

Fashion Friday: Monochrome

Recently, I’m in love with neutrals, including winter white. Winter white is basically just an off-white color that becomes a pain to match if you don’t shop for these off whites in the same store. (I swear I’m not always this neurotic about outfits) If it doesn’t bother you, shop around, be my guest! Let’s take a look.. Coat: H&M | Sweater: Loft | Blouse: Loft | Denim: Loft, similar | Shoes: Vince…

How to: Statement Ring

Hello everyone and welcome to my ring party! Today I’m going to talk about statement rings. I think when most people think of statement rings they think of very, very large rings. Personally, for a ring to make a statement, I don’t think it has to be huge, but it does need to catch the eye and be a great design. I’m going to share with you today some pictures of my personal favorites! Here we go: Costume: Melinda Maria YSL Ring finger: Sterling Silver, similar | Pointer: Philippe Audibert I think it’s important to get quality costume rings so they…

Here’s my first look: Shirt: Splendid, similar | Necklace: Charming Charlie’s, similar, similar I saw this necklace and it instantly reminded me about this shirt!
