Love YOself

You either learn to love your (once athletic now slightly mushy) thighs or you let them kill you. I decided to do a few squats/exercises in the morning and to learn to love them. Ladies, you always have to work with what you got! So in the theme of embracing yourself, I give you this romper.. Romper: Olivaceous | Bag: Ferragamo | Shoes: Valentino | Bracelets: Hermes & David Yurman In the spirit of loving myself (ie. “yo-self” as in today’s title), here’s another fun fact: I grew up LOVING rap music (yes in my suburban, middle-class homeland, we LOVED Biggie, Juelz,…

The It-Coat

Much like an It-Girl, this coat has been seen everywhere this season and I totally see the style moving into spring. Unfortunately, I had such a hard time running into said It-Coat anywhere. So, being somewhat of a bargain hunter, when I saw this coat at H&M on sale it was a no brainer. Take a look.. Coat: H&M, similar | Blouse: H&M | Denim: Hudson | Shoes: Sam Edelman | Sunglasses: Kate Spade | Earrings: Charming Charlie’s | Bracelets: Hermes  I love a big comfortable coat, especially when it’s this stylish. I don’t always like taking my coat off right away when I…

Fashion Friday: Snow White

I personally have nothing in common with Snow White, but I can definitely relate to her seven dwarves. Mostly Happy and Sleepy and this week I can even relate to Sneezy. Anyway, the titles really more of a metaphor for this Friday’s all white look and all the snow that’s inhabiting my life right now. Let’s take a look.. Coat: Mink Pink | Blouse: Loft, similar | Denim: Loft | Scarf: Old Navy, similar | Booties: Steven Madden, similar | Bag: Chloe, similar  They’re a something so cozy and dangerous about wearing winter white. Cozy because winter white is much warmer…

Thanksgiving at Someone Else’s Home, Style: The Guest

I don’t know about you, but when I eat during Thanksgiving, I don’t stop. It’s the most disgusting day of the year food wise, as I always eat until I’m about to pop. So with the next outfit I chose, I took that into consideration. I went with a oversized sweater and a skirt that sits above my stomach (Haha), lets take a look.. Sweater: Guess | Skirt: Alythea | Booties: Tory Burch, similar This outfit is so easy to throw on for dinner with your family. It’s important to look nice but to also be comfortable, especially if you’re…

Casual Chic

So I do realize many people don’t go out in heels everyday or are really just looking for a casual look that’s appropriate for the supermarket and for a casual lunch on the weekend. So I bring so you something casual but also lunch appropriate. Lets take a look.. Sweater: Joe Fresh (old), similar | Tied Shirt: Forever 21, similar | Denim: JBRAND | Boots: Chanel, similar | Photographer: Amanda Elle  I love combat boots, so when I saw these by Chanel in February 2013 I HAD to have them. Of course they quickly went out of stock and I wasn’t…

Fringe on Fringe

One of my favorite trends this fall is fringe. All fringe everything. I’m obsessing, sorry I have to control myself or I’m going to spend all my money on fringe outfits to just never wear again until the next time fringe is in. Pro tip: only buy a few trendy pieces each season. I get it’s hard sometimes not to go crazy in a trend you love, but let it go. You’re just wasting your money. (Hashtag lets be realistic) I digress, my point is just be smart with your style, sometimes more is too much. Let’s take a look at this…
