Motivation Monday!

So if you haven’t guessed or observed, I can be overly dramatic sometimes. Just last week I was ready to have a mental breakdown, while complaining to my mother via text, about working. I have a full time job, a part time job and my blog. And I quote myself “I would rather work six days a week because then I don’t get to remember what it’s like to be happy and enjoy myself.” Now I can say this to myself, shut the F up Simone, YOU’RE NUTS. I’m also laughing as I write this. Sometimes I just can’t even…

Motivation Monday

Happy MONDAY! This Monday I want you to choose your mood! Even if you’re cranky right now because it’s Monday, it’s early and you have to go to work or school, leave that all in bed. Stand up take a deep breath and choose to be happy! We let so many outside factors define our mood, even something as simple as the fact that it’s Monday. Monday doesn’t suck, you’ve just convinced yourself it does. Every day you go to work you further your career and make money (that you need for that Celinè bag you’ve been eyeing, oh wait…

Motivation Monday!

I think everyone fights this fight at some point in their life. Do you take the leap and follow your dreams or do you keep doing what’s in your comfort zone? Although change is uncomfortable, I think the best way to initiate change is exactly as this quote states, “tip toe.” If you’re dyeing your hair, you don’t go from black to blonde in one appointment at the salon, you do it slowly over time. (Unless you live on the edge and have the balls to dye your hair all at once and have no worries of it all falling…

I don’t know about you, but I can’t stand people who always have to be right. I get it, I don’t enjoy being wrong either but come on, you can’t be right all the time. I think it’s our tendency, and human nature, to want to be right. We want to say the right thing, do the right thing, be the right person and know all the answers (unless your a serial killer – kidding, kind of). The reality of that is, you just can’t know everything, you can’t always do the right thing and people will respect your for…

Motivation Monday!

The best thing you can do for yourself is push yourself. Physically, mentally, creatively, socially, push yourself to do anything that you don’t think you can do. Character is built when you’re working your hardest, not when you’re giving up or taking the easy way out. And if those reasons aren’t enough, trust me when I tell you that pushing yourself, and accomplishing something new is one of the best feelings. This blog for me is something that I push myself to do. I’m always making time, giving up my time, scheduling, prioritizing, organizing ect. pushing myself to do my best…

Motivation Monday

This is definitely something I live by. There’s nothing I hate more than someone spewing bullshit to me, that they’re sorry or that they didn’t mean what they said or did, and then, THEN, ten minutes later they’re doing the same thing they just apologized for. I mean, WHAT?! I’m not sure why people do this, but it’s literally the easiest way for me to cut you off. Always watch what people do. I love being observant. If a man or woman, constantly tells you how much you mean to them, how much they love you, how they would give…
