A Complete 360

Welcome back to the 70s! Or even 2001 (circa the Justin and Brintey matching denim era), where bell bottoms, floral prints and platforms are the latest and greatest in the fashion world. The hoarder in me LOVES that everything comes back around, it makes my saving of old things justifiable. It’s not everyday I can grab an old trendy item and rework it back into my wardrobe, so I was so excited when I remembered I kept a pair of boot/flare cut jeans from college. Lets take a look.. Blazer:H&M | Top: Forever 21 | Jeans: Hudson (old), similar |…

Undecided

My posts for the next few weeks may confuse you due to the seasons changing. Is it winter? Is it spring? Why can I wear shorts one day and cashmere the next? That’s just the reality of the undecided weather. So today I present to you a perfect I between look. Here we go.. Coat: H&M, similar | Sweater: Loft | Denim: J Brand | Booties: Dolce Vita | Bag: Marc Jacobs These booties scream Spring. You could NEVER wear them in the Winter due to the open toe and your foot would probably sweat to death in the Summer. I…

50 Shades of Grey

Although I never read the 50 Shades of Grey or watched the movie, I thought the title was appropriate for this post. Grey hue outfits have been a really popular look this season and neutral to my liking, so I had to grab some more grey articles of clothing (I mean you know, I use any excuse). Take a look.. Coat: Sheinside, similar | Blouse: Joie | Denim: J Brand | Belt: Hermes | Shoes: Prada | Bag: Chanel | Sunglasses: Kate Spade This outfit truly matches the weather in NY and even though I’m SO over the weather, there’s something so…

Color Conflict

I’m always trying to incorporate color into my outfits. There are so many deep beautiful fall colors that we should all try to incorporate into our go to black/neutral outfits. A little color can go a long way. I pulled the colors for this look from my favorite plaid scarf. Lets take a look… Coat: H&M, similar | Blouse: Forever 21, similar | Denim: Vince, similar | Boots: Stuart Weitzman, similar | Scarf: Zara, similar | Bag: Gucci So purple and green are definitely not what I consider a go-to color combination but I couldn’t love this color conflict more. This…

Save it

This title is all about my new Sam Edelman shoes (that I really should have bought two pairs of). I’ve been trying to decided what style Aquazurra shoe that I want to invest in, when all of a sudden I came across these. I’m not one to buy a “knock off” but these were so perfect, comfortable and super on sale and mirrored the Aquazzura Belgravia look, so I had to (sue me). I think I’ll still definitely invest in a Aquazurra shoe, but this is a prime example of why you should always keep your eyes and options open.…
