Hi everyone! I have a confession to make: I think I’ve purchased more coats in the past three months than ever in my life. Was confessing that supposed to be therapeutic? Well it wasn’t. Anywho, I found another coat I love that I wanted to share with you. This week’s look is all about the coat, let’s take a look..
Coat: Glamorous | Sweater: Loft | Denim: Paige, similar | Shoes: Michael Kors | Bag Gucci
I’ve never had a remotely light colored coat before so at first I wasn’t sure what I would wear with this. I pulled (dug) out these light pink Paige denim pants I’ve had forever and they looked so perfect with the coat. You can easily do an all white/black outfit under this coat, but I love the depth that you get wearing different muted colors together and the texture that the sweater and scarf add. Each piece stands out.
I love leather booties. Living in New York, suede booties are great until you’re going out and it’s raining/snowing and now you have no shoes to wear. So stressful. I also liked that they brought out the black check in the coat. This is one of the few times where black adds contrast and a pop of, dare I say, color. Overall, I love how this outfit came together.
