So this Friday I totally had fashion stylist block. Many of you I’m sure, know how frustrating this is. EVERYTHING you try on just doesn’t work. When this happens to me I go right to a classic. This time I chose black and white. Take a look.

I loved how my shorts looked with heels on Wednesday’s post, so I worked off of that. I love the lace shorts with the patent shoes and the pleated blouse. Both girly and bold together. I completed this look with the gold shield belt.
Black and white is always so easy and classic. You can never go wrong. I loved the red lipstick with this outfit. The color always brightens up my face. I also like that the shorts have a longer inseam, sometimes it’s nice to have a longer short.
I purchased this belt some time ago and I can’t remember exactly where I ordered it from. It was definitely a little boutique in Florida. Here are a few similar ones I found online, here and here.
