Chokers: Fall’s Must Have Accessory

Chokers are an accessory that are here to stay for this coming Fall season. Specifically statement chokers. They are a large part of the trend, so you’ll begin to see bolder styles. I personally love chokers because they help pull together layered Fall looks. They also function as a versatile piece that’s an easy add to any wardrobe, on any budget. They can make a statement at a black-tie event paired with a LBD and differentiate your sweater/ leather pants combo at the office. Here’s an idea:

Out of my picks that are listed below, these three chokers are the most versatile to me. If you’re still not sold on wearing one, purchasing one that you can wear with anything will make it easy. So, the next time your outfits feeling a bit blasé a choker will be your best friend!

I’ve rounded up some of my all time favorites below. Because designers don’t need as much material, and you can use fabric and other mixed medias, there are SO many options under $100, many of them being under $50!

Vintage Chokers

How about those vintage chokers?! I know those are a definite cost stretch, but aren’t they amazing? I had to show you guys, at least for some inspo!

Keep in mind..

  • Measure your neck. I know this sounds annoying, but use a flexible tape measure so you know what size your neck is. Mine happens to be quite small, so I know before I order a choker if it will fit me or not. (Saves A LOT of disappointment)
  • If you have a long neck try to stay away from super skinny/thin chokers that will sit in the center of your neck. They’ll only draw attention to how long your neck is. If you have a shorter neck stay away from thick chokers, as they only draw attention to how short your neck is.
  • A Choker is the perfect gift for that friend who has everything. (You’re welcome! LOL)
