Hi All! Starting this Sunday, and for the next two Sunday’s, I’m going to post some Thanksgiving looks. I know how hard it can be to decide what to wear to a family party. This weeks look is titled, The Host. If you’re hosting a big Thanksgiving at your home, this outfit is a go to! Lets take a look.. Dress: Monteau | Cardigan: Onyx | Shoes: Prada Hosting a party is hard enough, you shouldn’t have to worry about what you’re wearing. I love this look because it’s so easy to pull together. I find…
Recently, I’m in love with neutrals, including winter white. Winter white is basically just an off-white color that becomes a pain to match if you don’t shop for these off whites in the same store. Personally it bothers me if one white is more grey, more tan, more beige, and it really just messes with the whole look if you ask me. (I swear I’m not always this neurotic about outfits) If it doesn’t bother you, shop around, be my guest! Let’s take a look.. Coat: H&M | Sweater: Loft | Blouse: Loft | Denim: Loft, similar | Shoes: Vince…
So I do realize many people don’t go out in heels everyday or are really just looking for a casual look that’s appropriate for the supermarket and for a casual lunch on the weekend. So I bring so you something casual but also lunch appropriate. Lets take a look.. Sweater: Joe Fresh (old), similar | Tied Shirt: Forever 21, similar | Denim: JBRAND | Boots: Chanel, similar | Photographer: Amanda Elle I love combat boots, so when I saw these by Chanel in February 2013 I HAD to have them. Of course they quickly went out of stock and I wasn’t…
Today’s inspirational quote to start the week is about always being yourself. In today’s society it’s so easy to conform to norms, to buy what everyone else is buying and do what everyone else is doing. Let’s be real, it’s why everyone who had an upgrade on their phone went out and stood on a line or pre-ordered an iPhone 6. It’s more challenging to be different. Just because you like something and someone else doesn’t, it is not a bad thing. You don’t need everyone to like you and in fact, even if you try your hardest, everyone still won’t…
Happy Friday AND Happy Halloween! As the holidays are quickly approaching, I thought it would be great to show a look that you can wear to any party or even out this weekend, if you’re like me and didn’t buy a costume or tickets to a Halloween party in NYC. One of my all time go to looks is wearing boots and a dress. To mix that up a bit and make it a little more trendy and fun, I went with a skirt and a fuzzy sweater instead. Lets take a look.. Sweater: Glamorous | Skirt: Victoria’s Secret (old),…
I’m all about this hat trend that is going on right now. Wearing a big floppy wool hat with the right outfit makes all the difference. It also keeps my head warm, and if you don’t know me by now, I’m obsessed with being warm. I can’t stand being cold. So the hat trend is both chic and functional, at least for me. I was also able to work with my amazing photographer, Amandaelle, to get these outstanding shots of my outfit this week. Lets take a look.. Hat: Macy’s | Shirt: Forever 21, similar | Coat: Guess | Denim: Blank…
