Happy Friday AND Happy Halloween! As the holidays are quickly approaching, I thought it would be great to show a look that you can wear to any party or even out this weekend, if you’re like me and didn’t buy a costume or tickets to a Halloween party in NYC. One of my all time go to looks is wearing boots and a dress. To mix that up a bit and make it a little more trendy and fun, I went with a skirt and a fuzzy sweater instead. Lets take a look.. Sweater: Glamorous | Skirt: Victoria’s Secret (old),…
I’m all about this hat trend that is going on right now. Wearing a big floppy wool hat with the right outfit makes all the difference. It also keeps my head warm, and if you don’t know me by now, I’m obsessed with being warm. I can’t stand being cold. So the hat trend is both chic and functional, at least for me. I was also able to work with my amazing photographer, Amandaelle, to get these outstanding shots of my outfit this week. Lets take a look.. Hat: Macy’s | Shirt: Forever 21, similar | Coat: Guess | Denim: Blank…
This weekend I was lucky enough to be off both Saturday and Sunday, which only happens once a month. I love having two jobs + my blog (which is not a job because my heart is always here, I truly love this). My point of this being, I love running into pleasant, happy and kind strangers. With two days off, I did a lot of blog prep and running around. Sunday I went shopping with my mom and we met a woman in the dressing room. She was asking our opinion on clothes and was just so nice. Living in…
This week I was so lucky to have my good friend Amanda (@amandaelle_photography on Instagram) take pictures of my outfit. It was so much fun wearing heels and taking pictures in a not so heels environment. I loved that the water and sky backdrop complimented the colors in my top and blazer. Take a look.. Blazer: H&M | Top: Forever 21, similar | Denim: Paige | Shoes: Prada, similar | Belt: Hermes, similar To answer your first question, yes I totally wore my Prada shoes in the sand, and honestly I’ll never buy another designer besides Prada again (half…
Perspective. Always keep everything in perspective. It is your job to make sure that you always remind yourself what’s important. Yes, it’s important to go to work – but its not so important that you should miss a doctors appointment, or a very special event. I see people do this all the time, they’re always putting the wrong things first in their lives. By no means am I saying call out of work and make your coworkers lives stressful, but plan for everything and make yourself and the things you need to do for yourself important and a priority.…
This outfit reminds me of the Power Women I always see running around New York City. They’re in their high, high heels and they’re running around on a mission. It’s also happens to be the perfect look for a casual Friday in the office. Let’s check it out.. Blazer: Forever 21, similar | Blouse: H&M | Denim: AG | Shoes: Vince Camuto, similar | Bag: Chanel | Belt: Hermes I’m so addicted to blazers, I can’t stop buying them. Grey is definitely a have-to-have color this season, and I loved that this blazer wasn’t structured like the blazers I usually…
