Valentines Day Gifts for Him

For me, the males of the world are the HARDEST to shop for. I’m so relieved after Christmas and then all of a sudden I need a new gift idea for Valentine’s day. I came up with a number of great gift ideas under $50 for the holidays. But if you’ve already seen those, I’m going to add some amazing items here today too! I’ve been with my boyfriend for eight years now so over that time I’ve come up with some pretty solid gift ideas and others not-so-great.

Great: David Yurman Cross (also comes in a Star of David). He hasn’t taken it off since I got it for him eight years ago!

Not-so-great: Time-consuming two-year anniversary scrapbook. I gave him a scrapbook on our two year anniversary, and although it was a hit when he got it, now it just rots! I’ve never made another one because it took forever and neither of us has looked at it since! Ha!

Valentine’s Day has never been a big expensive gift holiday for my boyfriend & I. I find that we have a healthy relationship, go out to dinner regularly and appreciate each other all year round. So when Valentines Day comes along, sorry to say, it’s just another day. So, I personally like to go with a small thoughtful gift. Either something I make, for example, a list of reasons I love you (I also drew a picture of us once that I never gave to him LOL) or I would purchase the What I Love About You book below. Something small and sweet to make the day special, maybe even a card that you personalize with a love quote of your choosing.

Don’t forget about things you can do together. Event tickets, cooking classes, spa days and vacations are great things you can do as a couple. If you choose to do that, or you know that’s what your significant other is doing for you, you can always throw in a small themed gift like the palm tree shirt or luggage below!

**PS. If you’re traveling, stay up to date on what luggage you can use. Some airlines are requiring you to remove the battery from your luggage if it has one for charging, tracking ect.

My husband is the worst to shop for. I do okay with my dad, my nephews, my uncle, my brother in laws, but my husband? Nothing…complete blanks drawn. Actually, that’s not so, but he’s a very very unfussy practical guy so gifts aren’t necessarily creative, fancy, or fun like I like to do. He’s perfectly happy with socks & a crossword puzzle book. Opposites really do attract.

Haha!!! That’s so great and easy! As long as he’s happy right?!
