Simply Camel

A camel coat is a staple for the Winter/Fall, especially in New York where it’s already so cold (at least for me). We shot this look a few weeks ago right before the first time it snowed (really slushed), and looking at them makes me miss the beautiful leaves that come and go so fast. This look all together is a staple in my book that you can wear anywhere. Lets take a look.. Christmas Tree Harvesting Chic

Well maybe chic isn’t the right word, but you know what I mean. My initial take on Timberlands is that they should have been left in the 90s, but after seeing how these pictures came out my mind has changed. I love the rugged look it gives the outfit, it’s a ready to conquer anything style. And honestly, I probably would have broke my ankle without them, you know they plant Christmas Trees on mountains?! Well they did where I went. Ok, let me stop rambling so we can take a look at the outfit I put together for this…

Fashionably Embracing Winter

Winter is a beautiful time of year, I love looking(italic) at snow. I highly dislike the cold air, actually I can’t stand it. So I have to get creative on how to keep my outfit looking together, while staying as warm as possible. This Friday I went with a sweater dress and a fur vest. Let’s take a look..   Dress: H&M, similar | Vest: old, similar | Boots: Stewart Weitzman | Scarf: Charming Charlie’s | Bag: Rebecca Minkoff Warm, warm, warm. Fur vests faux or real are the perfect way to stay warm during the bitterly cold months. I paired my vest…

Fashion Friday: Rosie Cheeks & Shoes

This Friday I based my outfit’s color scheme off one of my favorite burberry scarves. Shades of wine are a go to in the Fall/Winter, but this scarf happens to have wines, pinks, mauves and purples commingled in the timeless burberry plaid. I picked out a few pieces that were similar in color and added in black as my base (had to, maybe it’s a Westchester thing but black is my life). Anywho, let us take a look.. Motivation Monday!

Although I’m one to sometimes want everything given to me, I happy that it’s not so. It’s so easy to have everything handed to you, everything paid for. Last week I talked about building character. Working hard for everything builds character, struggling and earning things on your own, builds character. So why in the world would I want everything to be easy? To be given everything? The truth is, I don’t want that and you shouldn’t either. Am I still going to complain about it? Of course I am. Complain, whine, breakdown and then let it go. No one is going…

Fashion Friday, How To: Restyling

You know when you love a piece of clothing, but it’s so distinct that you know everyone’s going to realize you’ve already worn it? Today, I’m going to show you something I love, and how I’ve restyled it to change the overall look. This skirt originally appeared in this post. Let’s take a look at the first style.. Skirt: Forever 21 | For entire outfit details click here So the pictures above are of the first way I styled this skirt. It was at the very beginning of Fall so it was sill warm outside, but I was eager to transition…
