Far From Ordinary

Co-ords are one of the it items of the Summer. You just have to purchase one set (I mean that’s what I told myself so I wouldn’t have a mental breakdown over the moral conflict of whether or not I actually have a shopping problem). Oh, and if you want to try and answer that question, don’t be a smart ass because I totally DO NOT HAVE A SHOPPING PROBLEM. haha Lets check it out.. When a dog loves your shoes, you know they’re right shoes. Co-Ord set: Band of Gypsies | Bag: Chanel | Shoes: Stuart Weiztman | Sunglasses: Kate…

Contagious Feeling

There’s something I love about warm colors paired with edgier items. It’s like nude pumps with studs – the feeling is contagious, the item itself tells more of a story. Personally, I love when an outfit inflicts an emotion, and for me this look does it. Let’s take a look… Fringe Tank: Zara | Denim: AG (old), similar | Booties: Dolce Vita | Bag: Marc Jacobs I love that this look is warm and neutral, and that the fringe tank is bright, fun and lively. You can make a subtle statement when you pair opposite trends. Here I’m showing something…

Weekending with Rocksbox

Happy Memorial Day weekend in the USA! Celebrating anyone who’s served our country is great, but situational dressing is even BETTER. At least it’s my favorite part. As most of the tri-state area schleps in hours of traffic to either the Hamptons or the Jersey Shore, as you pack up, I have an awesome style for you to include. Lets take a look.. Jumpsuit: Olivaceous | Shoes: Dolce Vita, similar | Clutch: Ferragamo | Cuff & Earrings:  Gorjana c/o Rocksbox I usually never buy anything navy, due to the fact that I always confuse it for black in my closet and…

Motivation Monday!

The worst thing you can ever do is compare yourself to someone else. Your day one can be someone else’s day 100, we’re all at difference places. We all want to know where we stand, know where we fit in, but the fact of the matter is that even if you had a definite answer, you wouldn’t be happy with it any way. So it best to break the habit and stop comparing yourself to others. Every time you think someone else is skinnier, fitter, getting better grades than you, making more money than you, being promoted faster than you,…

Fashion Friday: Leopard

For a while leopard was trendy, then I feel as if it when from trendy to trashy (real quick) and NOW I’m obsessed. Sometimes I feel like certain trends need to go through a transformation before they’re really wearable for me personally. (Another great example of this is studs; fast forward and the Rockstud by Valentino is born) Anyway, I’ve been dying to find the perfect pair of leopard pumps. Since I haven’t found them yet, like any logical shopoholic, I did what came naturally to me and I’ve started adding other leopard pieces into my wardrobe. Exhibit A: this…

Fashion Friday: So New York

This outfit reminds me of the Power Women I always see running around New York City. They’re in their high, high heels and they’re running around on a mission. It’s also happens to be the perfect look for a casual Friday in the office. Let’s check it out.. Blazer: Forever 21, similar | Blouse: H&M | Denim: AG | Shoes: Vince Camuto, similar | Bag: Chanel | Belt: Hermes I’m so addicted to blazers, I can’t stop buying them. Grey is definitely a have-to-have color this season, and I loved that this blazer wasn’t structured like the blazers I usually…
