Fashion Friday Blues

Black and blue is a go to for me when I have no idea what to wear, but I have somewhere to go or would rather not look like a bum. A bright blue always pops against black, I love the contrast. Be carful to not wear black and navy blue, that may be black, or is it blue? Those are the worst days ever. OK, babble over, lets take a look at this Fashion Friday’s outfit.. Blazer: NY&Co, similar | Sweater: Forever 21, similar | Denim: Hudson | Shoes: Stuart Weitzman | Bag: Chanel  This is such a fun weekend outfit,…

When round sunglasses work with the shape of your face, you have to buy them. Having a long oval shaped face, not many sunglass styles look great on me. Fashion Friday: Leopard

For a while leopard was trendy, then I feel as if it when from trendy to trashy (real quick) and NOW I’m obsessed. Sometimes I feel like certain trends need to go through a transformation before they’re really wearable for me personally. Since I haven’t found them yet, like any logical shopoholic, I did what came naturally to me and I’ve started adding other leopard pieces into my wardrobe. Exhibit A: this…

What do you wear when you have no idea what to wear? A bright color + a neutral color. It’s the easiest way to look like you’re wearing a well thought out outfit, with little actual effort (fave). Today look is a fun outfit for hanging out with friends, grabbing lunch or running errands. Let’s take a look..   Coat: Victoria’s Secret, similar | Sweater: C by Bloomingdale’s | Denim: J Brand | Hat: Gap, similar | Boots & Bag: Chanel Love bright pink! Combating Masculine Styles

I’m an impulsive person when it comes to shopping. Sometimes I just HAVE to have specific items, and these Chanel combat boots were one of them. Never mind how expensive or the fact that I got them before I ever had a pair of Louboutins, I HAD to have them and I’m happy I did. They make any outfit chic and are perfect for the winters in New York. For this look I styled them very casual. Let’s take a look.. Vest: Adrienne Landau | Sweater: Aqua, similar | Denim: Joie, similar | Boots, Bag and Sunglasses: Chanel I love…

Bringing Metallics into 2015

Happy New Year’s Eve everyone!! Something I’ll totally be brining into 2015 is metallics, it’s definitely become the more acceptable, less tacky sequins (at least by me that is). I saw this blazer in August and I knew I had to have it. Being somewhat of a bargain hunter, I couldn’t get my self to pay regular price ($198). So a few months later I was able to get it on sale (you’ll die at the price now, you can find it under the Shop My Look at the bottom). Anyway, my point being, I love this blazer and I…
