Combating Masculine Styles

I’m an impulsive person when it comes to shopping. Sometimes I just HAVE to have specific items, and these Chanel combat boots were one of them. Never mind how expensive or the fact that I got them before I ever had a pair of Louboutins, I HAD to have them and I’m happy I did. They make any outfit chic and are perfect for the winters in New York. For this look I styled them very casual. Let’s take a look..

I love combat boots, but most times they make an outfit look masculine or even athletic (for lack of a better word). I wanted to create a feminine look while incorporating these boots, so I added the fur vest and went with these wine Joie jeans to keep the color palette warm. Texture wise I went with a soft cashmere sweater with an asymmetrical hem and a fur vest.

This look is perfect weekend wear. It’s comfortable, warm and chic.

TIP: Invest in a nice pair of combat boots
TIP: To create a feminine look while incorporating a very masculine item, keep your textures fuzzy and furry and your colors warm.
TIP: Always keep your head up and shoulders back like the BOSS that you are
