Causal Wednesday: Just a little Effort

What do you wear when you have no idea what to wear? A bright color + a neutral color. It’s the easiest way to look like you’re wearing a well thought out outfit, with little actual effort (fave). Today look is a fun outfit for hanging out with friends, grabbing lunch or running errands. Let’s take a look..   Coat: Victoria’s Secret, similar | Sweater: C by Bloomingdale’s | Denim: J Brand | Hat: Gap, similar | Boots & Bag: Chanel Love bright pink! Combating Masculine Styles

I’m an impulsive person when it comes to shopping. Sometimes I just HAVE to have specific items, and these Chanel combat boots were one of them. Never mind how expensive or the fact that I got them before I ever had a pair of Louboutins, I HAD to have them and I’m happy I did. They make any outfit chic and are perfect for the winters in New York. For this look I styled them very casual. Let’s take a look.. Vest: Adrienne Landau | Sweater: Aqua, similar | Denim: Joie, similar | Boots, Bag and Sunglasses: Chanel I love…

My initial take on Timberlands is that they should have been left in the 90s, but after seeing how these pictures came out my mind has changed. I love the rugged look it gives the outfit, it’s a ready to conquer anything style. And honestly, I probably would have broke my ankle without them, you know they plant Christmas Trees on mountains?! Well they did where I went. Ok, let me stop rambling so we can take a look at the outfit I put together for this…

Lets take a look..   Cardigan: old, similar | Denim: Guess, similar | Shoes: Converse | Tank: Splendid  Adding classic feminine accessories to a sporty outfit is everything. I love this look so much because it incorporates both the timeless styles…

Casual Wednesday: Mustard Yellow

Wine shades of the world, beware. Mustard yellow is quickly becoming a fall staple that’s here to stay. As much as I love deep red tones in the Fall/Winter, I still find myself searching for other season appropriate colors. I love wearing this muddied yellow color as it’s bright and alive but clearly not something you pulled out of your Summer wardrobe. Let’s take a look.. Cardigan: Aqua, similar | Blouse: Loft | Denim: JBRAND | Booties: Steve Madden | Bag: Chloe, similar I wore this to my cousin’s 6th birthday party last weekend. As I’ve said before with these booties,…
