See The Good In Life You Won’t Regret It

With everything that goes on in the world, it’s easy to be annoyed with mankind. We ruin the earth with all kinds of pollution, we don’t treat each other properly, we kill each other, I mean we’re kind f*cked up. But let me tell you, one thing I learned about seeing the glass half empty is that nothing good will come from it. That’s why once you decide to see the good in life, you won’t regret it.

How I see the good in life…

Get rid of what changes your perspective negatively. 

There’s nothing like watching ten minutes of the news to ruin your mood. Personally, I don’t like knowing each and every negative thing going on in the world. I’ve found watching the news every morning is more upsetting than helpful to me, so now I get my news on my phone. The weather, news, local updates and any other information I want, is controlled by me on my iPhone in my news app. So if something horrible has happened you only have to read the headline to be aware, not listen to the whole story.

Practice seeing the good. 

It’s easy to see the bad. We’re taught good and bad, so for most of us, it’s easy to see both. To me, seeing the bad is just a bad habit. If you find yourself caught up in a negative thought or stuck in a bad situation, it just takes practice to get your thoughts out of that head-space.

You’re in control. 

Finally, don’t forget you’re always in control. You can choose to see the good in life and live with good intentions. Or you can choose to add to the existing garbage. It’s really easy, and it’s your choice. Wake up every morning in control of your vibes, and choose the good ones you won’t regret it.

I love a good fruit print so this cherry dress (c/o) is no exception! I’m wearing a size small and it fits perfectly! Usually, with a wrap dress, I find I like to go a size bigger to cover my chest, but this one fits great. I’m 5’5″ and the length is also perfect.

As for accessories, I’m totally in love with these red sunnies, also from Tobi. Red is my favorite color to use as a pop of color, so I know I’ll get a lot of wear out of them. For jewelry, my earrings and necklace are also from Tobi. I’ve been looking for vintage-inspired pieces and I was so happy when I found these. And you can’t beat the price either. My Vans sneakers are super comfortable (key) and I’m wearing my regular size, 6.
