Winter is a beautiful time of year, I love looking(italic) at snow. I highly dislike the cold air, actually I can’t stand it. So I have to get creative on how to keep my outfit looking together, while staying as warm as possible. This Friday I went with a sweater dress and a fur vest. Let’s take a look.. Dress: H&M, similar | Vest: old, similar | Boots: Stewart Weitzman | Scarf: Charming Charlie’s | Bag: Rebecca Minkoff Warm, warm, warm. Fur vests faux or real are the perfect way to stay warm during the bitterly cold months. I paired my vest…
It’s always nice to give your feet a rest, and for this, I love Converse. It’s a pair of shoes that almost everyone owns, making this look easy to recreate on your own. I paired my Converse sneakers with a chunky feminine cardigan, because per usual, I love mixing masculine and feminine and also sporty and dressy styles together. Lets take a look.. Cardigan: old, similar | Denim: Guess, similar | Shoes: Converse | Tank: Splendid Adding classic feminine accessories to a sporty outfit is everything. I love this look so much because it incorporates both the timeless styles…
As the holiday’s come and go, so does New Years and New Years resolutions. Now is a perfect time to follow your dreams. I can remember days in High School where I thought College would never come, and moments in College where I thought the work and tests would never end, yet it all does. Sometimes the future seems so far away, but you have to remember that each day you’re creating your future. One of my personal future goals is to wake up everyday doing what I love to do. I put a lot of time and every into…
Hi All! I though it would be a great idea to share with you some of the things I’ve bought for my boyfriend over the years. As the time goes on I have a harder time picking out gifts for someone who’s response is always “I don’t need anything” or “you’re my gift” I mean, doesn’t he know I HAVE to buy him a gift? Ugh. I’m sure some of you get where I’m coming from. I digress. Here are some of my top picks for the hard to shop for boyfriend: David Yurman Cross or Star of David Side note: I’ve…
This Friday I based my outfit’s color scheme off one of my favorite burberry scarves. Shades of wine are a go to in the Fall/Winter, but this scarf happens to have wines, pinks, mauves and purples commingled in the timeless burberry plaid. I picked out a few pieces that were similar in color and added in black as my base (had to, maybe it’s a Westchester thing but black is my life). Anywho, let us take a look.. Wine shades of the world, beware. Mustard yellow is quickly becoming a fall staple that’s here to stay. As much as I love deep red tones in the Fall/Winter, I still find myself searching for other season appropriate colors. I love wearing this muddied yellow color as it’s bright and alive but clearly not something you pulled out of your Summer wardrobe. Let’s take a look.. Cardigan: Aqua, similar | Blouse: Loft | Denim: JBRAND | Booties: Steve Madden | Bag: Chloe, similar I wore this to my cousin’s 6th birthday party last weekend. As I’ve said before with these booties,…
