It's a bittersweet moment when Fall finally rolls around here in New York. It's always hard for me to give up the warm air of Summer. But if anything could make me excited, it's apple pie, apple cider donuts, pumpkin carving, and Halloween! Over the weekend I took a trip up to Fishkill Farms (Hopewell Junction NY, Dutchess County) and on Sunday I went to Barton Orchards (Poughquag NY, Dutchess County). My heart was filled with great friends and Fall fun all weekend long!
I’ve always believed that trying is better than doing nothing at all. When it comes to fitness, how I eat and how I impact the environment, it’s all the same. I put in an honest effort to do my best. Did you know the fashion industry has been said to be the highest polluting industry? I thought it was about time I’d share 3 easy fashionable ways to be a more ethical consumer. While I’ve never considered myself solely a fashion blogger, the bulk of my content often includes fashion and what I’m wearing. I personally want to make a…
*Post in collaboration with Olie Biologique, all thoughts an opinions are my own. As we swap out our wardrobe and bring out the boots and sweaters for Fall, it’s important that we change our beauty routine too. After a long Summer of sun and rosé, your skin deserves a refresh and some much needed TLC. I’ve talked about this before, as it’s essential to prep your skin for the change in season. Today I’m going to share how to prep your skin for fall with Olie face oils. What I love about Olie Biologique is that it was created out…
photography by: @remington.jay (edits by me!) I was so excited to partner again this season with Bloomingdales, White Plains to celebrate NYFW in Westchester County. We’ve been teaming up since fall 2018 to share NYFW with the local community and the event has grown so much since then. NYFW in Westchester County at Bloomingdales White Plains Season 3 What we did differently this season: I had a co-host, Tina of @wardrobe_envy! Something I mentioned in my post about my Club Sweat, Greenwich event was that events are easier to manage with a co-host! Tina was so supportive and helpful along…
From cell phone lock up to only showing current collections, fashion week has finally started to take a turn for the better. This year’s NYFW Fall 2019 recap will include everything I loved to why I agree with fashion week sans cellphones. I’ll also explain why I’m saying goodbye to SS 2020. A Goodbye to SS 2020 and Cellphones Catching up to the social media, iPhone-as-an-appendage-of-the-body era has been pretty disruptive in all industries across the board. With fast fashion immediately knocking off designs that aren’t set to arrive until six months later, to runway shows where everyone has their…
Whether it’s for business or pleasure, a dating app date, moms night out, drinks with friends, dinner with your significant other or some much-needed family time, date night covers a wide variety of events. And personally takes up quite a bit of my time, but I’m okay with that because a girl’s got to eat! And I personally like eating good! I don’t know about you but I constantly find myself saying “there’s nowhere to eat” when I’m at home in Westchester County. Which is totally not true (#fakenews), I just can never remember all my favorite places when I’m…
