Hello friends! Since my 2018 Holiday Gift Guide for him has been getting so much traffic this week, I thought I would start this series with this year’s best gifts for him!
I always find as women it’s a bit easier to buy the perfect gift for friends, mom, grandma, etc. It’s the gifts for him that’s difficult. I mean, of course, the men in our lives have to be difficult at least once a year! Ha!
So I wanted to share my top picks for him in this 2019 holiday gift guide. And down below I’m also going to include my thought process on a few items to get your gift-giving brain juices flowing!

Advice on Getting the Best Gifts for Him
- If all else fails, get something he always needs. My boyfriend Tom is a serial white-tee shirt-wearer, so white tees are always a good idea! My dad LOVES getting fresh new socks and undershirts. I find most men will appreciate those, easy, boring, everyday items. Because they actually use them!
- As women, we know how important skincare is. And while it’s said men age “gracefully” I think the guys in our life can always use a little help in this department. Try a Kiehl’s starter kit for him, the products are made for men so he’ll feel comfortable using them. They’re also easy to understand and not overwhelming, making them a great place to start.
- Ditch the presents under the tree and book an experience. While all the gifts above would be great, sometimes an experience together is even better. Book a weekend away dinner in the city or a round of golf! Think about what he does in his spare time, it can be something just for him or for the two of you.
