After four years of blogging, I’ve had a lot of practice curating a mood in photos. It’s not that easy and I don’t always get it right, but I’m finally feeling confident in my ability to do so. Especially after these photos. The right outfit in the right place can make you feel like the photo was taken elsewhere. I mean these photos have such a vintage feel to me. So, today I wanted to share my favorite style details for creating a vintage inspired look.
Style Details For A Vintage Inspired Look:
- Romance. Eyelets and lace have been around forever. Literally, I googled it, lace came to be in the sixteenth century and eyelets in the late 1800s. Needless to say, these romantic fabrics are a perfect place to start when you’re going for a vintage feel.
- Headscarf. I mean Rosie the Riveter, hello. But seriously women have been wearing fashion head scarves prior to WWII from the early to mid-1900s. A neck scarf and head scarf are fun ways to make a basic look #vibes.
- Small sunnies. I mean this one is easy. Just grab yourself a pair and they instantly make almost any look vintage inspired.
About the look…
I’m wearing a size small in the little white dress from Chicwish. I love that it’s a loose more casual style, yet the eyelet details make polished.
