By now you should know what you enjoy wearing and what outfits you are most comfortable in. This look should be your live in outfit. Mine usually change a bit season-to-season, but I’m very aware of what I like wearing and what looks good in my body.
Putting looks together can be stressful for some, so if you haven’t figured out your live in outfit yet, I have some tips.
– What do you have the most of in your closet for Fall? Really narrow it down. If it’s sweaters, are the cowl neck, v neck, turtle neck etc. and what colors do you have the most of?
– Think about what you wore most last Fall. Look back at old photos; were you always wearing a plaid shirt like me or something different?
– How much do you love your most comfortable item? Once you answer that, what items comes to mind? For me, I will probably cry when my favorite 7 jeans for Fall, eventually disintegrate!
I’ve also created a fun little worksheet that you can download. This will help you narrow down your favorite Fall look!

The look above is definitely my live-in look for Fall. Plaid is such a traditional Fall item and I love layering all my plaid with sweaters! You all know I’m the denim queen, so it made sense for me to pair this with denim. Finally, to give you an idea, for winter I’ll swap out my denim to my go to pair of coated denim and faux leather pants!
