Casual Wednesday: Coping with the Weather

The not so fun part about Fall, is always the weather. Is it going to be hot, bitterly cold, raining or snowing? The answer: Who knows?! Certainly, sometimes I don’t think Mother Nature even knows what it’s doing. Today, I’ve dedicated this post’s style to rain boots! Let’s take a look..

I’m so happy that in recent years, rain boots have become a lot more fashionable, with designers adding new prints and styles by just getting inventive with rubber/plastic. If the fashion favorite, hunter boots don’t fit you (like me), don’t worry. I love these Stuart Weitzman leopard ones and I’ll post a few other similar styles below. Rain boots are obviously great when it rains, but they’re also perfect when it snows, by adding warm fuzzy boot socks!

This is probably one of the most casual outfits I’ve posted to date, but I really do like this look. It’s perfect for when it’s raining and muggy out. You can add a cashmere sweater and you’re instantly good if it’s cold. Sometimes you have no choice but to make comfortable choices. I’m a firm believer in not ruining shoes to look nice. If it’s raining wear the boots and change and whatever you do, don’t wear suede.
