I’m not sure where to begin. This May will be the tenth anniversary of my blog. For years I shared my goals, life changes, and bits that motivated me with you. In 2020 content creation became my full-time job. And with that, a lot of self-reflection, self-worth struggles, and questions about my overall ‘brand’ came up. The personal pulse of my blog ended up getting a bit neglected as my inner dialogue tried to decide what and how much I wanted to share. So it seems it’s time for a bit of a life update on here! While my website…
Quilted jackets are timeless and one of the best grab-and-go items in your closet. They’re like a warm hug on a cool spring day. Or a pleasant layer in the late fall when the temperature starts to drop. If you want to be a master of transitional dressing a quilted jacket is exactly what your wardrobe needs. If you’re doing the online hunt on your own, quilted jackets have a few different names. Known as liners or shells, they may also be referred to as coats. I’ve also seen padded parkas, car coats even insulation jackets. What they all have…

I’ve included a few of my favorite tips for effortless layering along with the basics I grab for an eased layered look. Tips for Layering Your Clothes Start with the basics. Having T-shirts, long-sleeved shirts, and button-downs are the…
At the beginning of last year, I was on the hunt for new bedding. Fiona had ripped my Pottery Barn duvet that was on our bed after one too many bleached-added washes. The material had become brittle and it was easy as a simple scratch to get comfortable from our dog that did it in. Enter Quince. I saw Quince bedding all over the internet so I decided to try it due to the affordable price point and the look. It closely matched the style of my current duvet cover I was using without a duvet insert because it was…
Living in the Northeast come Winter I am constantly combating the cold, wet, snowy weather. Top it off with a bit of seasonal depression lending my coat-purchasing habits to get a bit out of control. It always seems like I can never have enough coats, especially when it’s so cold out. Fast forward to this past week, I consigned (I used Second Edition!) around fifteen coats, jackets, and/or blazers that needed new homes. My coat closet is still so excessive but it felt good to get some space back. Fingers crossed it will inspire me to get rid of more.…
