Since I decided to slow down on the shopping this year, I’ve been working harder than ever to style interesting new looks. You should always try to make the most out of your wardrobe because it’s to your benefit. But what does that mean? Wearing an item once or twice is far from making the most out of it. If I counted out all of my *one wear* items, it would be embarrassing. So today I’m sharing styling tips that will challenge you to maximize your wardrobe!
5 Styling Tips To Make The Most Out Of Your Wardrobe
Utilize items that can be worn all year. Winter scarves are my Summer shawls and you can bet I’ll be wearing my baker boy cap this Summer. You can also layer a long sleeve turtleneck under a one-shoulder top.
Rewear statement pieces. I love wearing statement pieces as the focal point of my look. These gold shoes are a perfect example of something I wear all the time. Yes, everyone’s seen them, but they still elevate a basic look.
Look for inspiration. I love going through Pinterest for new outfit ideas.
Wear your basics. Don’t be afraid to wear that white tee, black bodysuit or your favorite jeans to the death!
Don’t wait for a special moment. I am the queen of buying something I love and could wear multiple ways, only to wait to wear it. You know the perfect moment.
With today’s look everything, excluding the scarf, I’ve worn before. My gold Gucci slides (statement piece) are one of the most outrageous things I’ve ever purchased and I find myself wearing them as often as possible. They really make a look pop. My Lysse faux leather leggings (basics) have held it down all Winter long, I’m kind of sad to retire them one the weather warms up!

I am so obsessed with this clutch! I waited forever to purchase it, so I was able to grab it on sale. Isn’t that the best? If you’re looking for a new bag for Spring, I rounded up a ton of my favorites on my last post. Luckily, accessories are an item that has a relatively long life so they can be worn again and again!
