(The Skylark, New York City)
With an entire month and a half of Summer left, you still have ample time to get yourself some crisp frosé here in NYC. I’ve seen it all when it comes for Frozen Rosé aka Frosé. From adding all kinds of berries, simple syrups, marshmallows on top (yes you read that right) and I’ve even made my own frozé ice pops. So what does it take to make it best?
First off, the rosé itself has to be good. If your base sucks, your frosé has no hope. I like a lighter rosé and nothing without a heavy alcohol taste. I also do not enjoy tons of additional alcohol added. If I wanted to get wasted I’d order a Long Island iced tea, okay??
Second, is the presentation. I like my drink nice and cold, and not half-melted by the time it gets to me. Also, a little garnish or a large wine glass goes a long way for me in the looks department. Berries on top are a plus IMO.
Finally, is it frozé of frosé? I also like when it’s on the menu and I don’t have to ask if they have it. So weird, but some restaurants have the cutest and most delicious frozé but it’s not on the menu. Why?

Crisp and delicious, this no-nonsense rosé comes in a large wine glass, is perfectly blended and just the right amount of sweet!

You know how much your girl likes a spritz, so with a little Campari in this frozé, it had to make the cut in my book.
Try on the menu: Summer Day Burger and the Main Lobster Roll
The Skylark
hi @styleinherited!
Address: 200 W 39th St, New York, NY 10018
The rainbow rosé (blue) and the berry botox (red). Both were so good and what a plus to have fresh berries on the top of my drink.
Try on the menu: Coconut shrimp and the mac n cheese cupcakes
Adoro Lei
Address: 287 Hudson St, New York, NY 10013
This has to be the most classic frozé of the bunch. It was cold, fresh and a tad sweet. Perfection in my book.
Try on the menu: Truffle Rice Balls and Lovers Purses pasta
Common Ground
Address: 63 Gansevoort St, New York, NY 10014
If you like your frozé a little boozy this one is for you!
Try on the menu: Open cheese quesadillas. They fry the cheese on one side and the quesadilla is served open. One of the best I’ve ever had!
