These are probably one of the most delicious cocktails I’ve ever made. Cocktail ice pop? Whatever you want to call them, they’re GOOD. The ones in this photo, in particular, have lasted in the freezer all week. And they’re so easy to make. So follow the instructions below for my summertime frozé ice pops and thank me later!

So first, you’ll obviously need your rosé. I started out with a bottle of Adorada rosé. You can buy it here. The flavor is delicious, with hints of strawberry yet not too sweet. Making it perfect for frozé. Or just regular drinking! Haha!

Other items you’ll need:

  • Glass pyrex dish
  • Funnel
  • Blender
  • Ice pop bags
  • 1 carton of strawberries
  • 3 tbs white sugar
  • 3 tbs water
  • Ice
  • Strainer

How to make summertime frozé ice pops:

  1. In a glass pyrex dish, freeze your rosé overnight, or for at least a minimum of 6 hours. The colder the better. It is not going to freeze all the way no matter how long you leave it.
  2. Take your carton of strawberries (the regular size plastic carton they have at the supermarket) and wash. Next cut the leaves off and put in the blender.
  3. Simple syrup. To be honest I always just make one in the microwave. If you want to make it on the stove just heat up your water, add sugar and voilà. The microwave is the same, I heat up my 3 tbs of water, add sugar and stir until the sugar is dissolved.
  4. Add sugar to strawberries and blend. I also add a little water and ice. This will make it easier to strain.
  5. When fully blended strain your mixture to remove the seeds and pulp. Set juice aside.
  6. Once as frozen as possible, take your rosé out of the freezer. Scrape up with a fork and put in your blender along with your strawberry juice.
  7. Add a little more ice and blend all together.
  8. Funnel into your ice pop bags and knot. You need to leave about 2 1/2 inches empty so you can make the knot.
  9. I like to cut the tops of the plastic so they’re shorter and all even, but it’s totally optional.
  10. ENJOY!

For presentation: Put some ice in your pyrex or a metal tray, add your ice pops and some fresh fruit for a pretty presentation!

Mine stayed fresh in the freezer for a full week! If you’re trying to get extra boozy, add some vodka! This treat will be sure to impress your friends and everyone at the beach this summer!
