Varley has quickly become my latest hyper-fixation. Living in the New York City suburbs it’s not often outfits catch my eye. I steer away from looking rushed and a bit too comfortable. Yet being able to move with my baby girl on my hip and look effortless doing it is my goal when I select an outfit. When I see Varley in the wild – aka at my local Trader Joe’s – it’s the fabrics and versatility that make me do a double-take.
My current season of life has me reevaluating my style and wanting to simplify my wardrobe. Purging my old SLT leggings and listing items that no longer suit me on Poshmark has been a recurrence as of late. It’s no wonder I’m always grabbing from my denim drawer and not going for comfort.
Previous capsule wardrobe guides, Sezane, H&M, and Everlane to name a few, have not included athleisure wear. The truth is, I didn’t think that I’d ever feel put-together wearing leggings out. I will be happily wrong in any of the pieces included in this Varley Fall capsule wardrobe collection. Paired with some new sneakers (I’ve got my eye on these), I’ll proudly step into my casual era.
Alright, now onto your Varley Fall Capsule Wardrobe…

While there are seasonal colors ways, I opted to stick with basics. When it comes to my personal capsule wardrobe I’m ready to have fewer items. There’s not a ton of space in our house so I have to be really selective with what I add.
If you’re someone who wears leggings and sweats more days and week than not, absolutely add some color. You’ll find you can always pair these items back with black to get more wear out of them. So as long as you have some basics you’ll be good to go.
Great pieces, I love the outfit ideas.

Thank you Chantel! I have to see an outfit to decide if I like it so I love making outfit planners for myself, happy you like it too!
