MAD DONUTS, WHITE PLAINS
Ever want to find a cool place in Westchester County to get the best pics for the gram? Me too. Today, in partnership with my friend, Jackie @jackiegiardina, we are sharing our favorite local spots to capture the best photos. If you’re a Westchester County local, or an influencer looking to grab some instagramable moments outside NYC, we have a great post today lined up for you! We will both be sharing 5 of our favorite and most instagramable places in Westchester County New York!
So when you’re done reading my favorite instagramable places, make sure to head to livingaftermidnight.com to check out Jackie’s top 5 places too!
The Most Instagramable Places in Westchester County New York
1. Bronxville Village
Kraft Avenue
Side by Side are both taken on Garden Ave.
Kraft Avenue
What I love about Bronxville’s Village is that it kind of reminds me of a small city (at the right angle!). On Kraft Avenue, you’ll find some great white walls and also the movie theater. Getting a full shot with the movie theater in the background will give your photo a vintage feel. If you take a short walk down to Garden Avenue, you’ll find the street is lined with trees in addition to some great little brick condos!
2. The Poppery, Mount Kisco
Address: 255 N Bedford Rd, Mt Kisco, NY 10549
The Poppery in Mount Kisco is a breath of fresh air for the Westchester County scene! Alexa Esposito’s new space is just as instagramable as the treats she makes. From the big velvet pink couch to the palm leaf wallpaper in the bathroom, there’s an Instagramable moment in every nook and cranny. Alexa also makes the most STUNNING baked creations. From cookies to cake pops this girl can do-it-all! Grab some sweets and a photo at this great space!
Check out my weekend in the life VLOG to experience The Poppery with me!
3. MAD Donuts, White Plains (at The Westchester Mall)
Address: 125 Westchester Ave, White Plains, NY 10601
Matt Moore (owner, of MAD Donuts) and I first worked together at my NYFW show at Bloomingdale’s earlier this year. When I found out he was opening a store in the Westchester Mall I was so excited. Prior to this space, he was only doing pop-ups, so I’m so happy that he has been able to expand his business! There are flower-filled walls that line the space along with the donuts that are just as instagramable!
4. Scarsdale Village
Boniface Circle with @jackiegiardina
L: Spence Place R: Chase Rd
Boniface Circle
I love the buildings in Scarsdale Village, if you take a low angle shot you can get the best backdrop of the tops of the old buildings. Boniface Circle, Chase Rd, and Christe Place are my favorite streets to shoot on. It’s also great if you want to take photos of different outfits in the same general area. I’ve also been known to post up in front of the post office too!
5. The Hudson River Walk (Dobbs Ferry / Tarrytown)
Tarrytown (Near Rivermarket Bar & Kitchen, 127 W Main St, Tarrytown, NY 10591)
Both of the above are near Hudson Social at different times of the year (11 Station Plaza, Dobbs Ferry, NY 10522)
Westchester County has two bodies of water on each side, one being the Hudson River, the other the Long Island Sound. While the sound is beautiful, I can’t miss a photo op anytime I’m near the Hudson. Which is how it claimed spot number five on my list for the most instagramable places in Westchester County!
When I’m out to dinner in Dobbs Ferry or Tarrytown you can almost see the river from anywhere you eat, so after dinner, I always try to take a walk down to get a view of the Tappan Zee Bridge at sunset. It’s also beautiful during the fall when you get a backdrop of the changing leaves!
Did I miss a spot?
