Combating The Cold With Faux Fur Coats This Winter

Living in the Northeast come Winter I am constantly combating the cold, wet, snowy weather. Top it off with a bit of seasonal depression lending my coat-purchasing habits to get a bit out of control. It always seems like I can never have enough coats, especially when it’s so cold out. Fast forward to this past week, I consigned (I used Second Edition!) around fifteen coats, jackets, and/or blazers that needed new homes. My coat closet is still so excessive but it felt good to get some space back. Fingers crossed it will inspire me to get rid of more.…

The Tie-Dye Edit Plus Recent Finds and Pinterest Favorites!

I file my (limited) tie-dye pieces in my closet under classics. They’re my go to for a warm day in the summer and a pick-me-up in a gloomy April storm. There was a long period where I gravitated toward statement pieces and for the handful I still love, I’m happy I did. This Polo button-down (circa 2019) is one of my all-time favorites. It’s one of those things I don’t think I’ll ever part with. If you’re new here, I consistently share capsule wardrobe guides, so you may be wondering where tie-dye fits in. 3 Easy Fashionable Ways To Be A More Ethical Consumer

I’ve always believed that trying is better than doing nothing at all. When it comes to fitness, how I eat and how I impact the environment, it’s all the same. I put in an honest effort to do my best. Did you know the fashion industry has been said to be the highest polluting industry? I thought it was about time I’d share 3 easy fashionable ways to be a more ethical consumer. NYFW Fall 2019 Recap – A Goodbye to SS 2020 and Cellphones

From cell phone lock up to only showing current collections, fashion week has finally started to take a turn for the better. This year’s NYFW Fall 2019 recap will include everything I loved to why I agree with fashion week sans cellphones. I’ll also explain why I’m saying goodbye to SS 2020.  A Goodbye to SS 2020 and Cellphones Catching up to the social media, iPhone-as-an-appendage-of-the-body era has been pretty disruptive in all industries across the board. With fast fashion immediately knocking off designs that aren’t set to arrive until six months later, to runway shows where everyone has their…
