Top 5 Fall Trends – Get Your Hands On My Favorites

After NYFW I’m feeling energized and inspired. Between the shows and the street style there is no lack of outfit inspiration. So with all this new found style knowledge I’ve gained over the past few weeks, I wanted to share it with you! And not that I need an excuse to go shopping, but shopping for Fall items is my favorite part of living in New York. As much as I dislike the cold February to April stretch, I love the seasonal transitions. Between the seasons and trends the overload of new merchandise out there can seem a bit overwhelming.…

Blazer Addict

I legitimately live for blazers. I can always justify a blazer purchase and this recent purchase was no different. They instantly make any outfit look serious, like you mean business (and I mean what woman does not mean business?). Although I went with a more casual style with this blazer, it still has a stark seriousness to it. Lets take a look.. Blazer: BCBGeneration | Top: Aqua | Denim: J Brand | Shoes: Sam Edelman | Bag: Rebecca Minkoff | Necklace: Charming Charlie’s, similar  I love the jewel tones in this blazer, it’s perfect for any season. Color Conflict

I’m always trying to incorporate color into my outfits. There are so many deep beautiful fall colors that we should all try to incorporate into our go to black/neutral outfits. Let’s take a look..   Dress: H&M, similar | Vest: old, similar | Boots: Stewart Weitzman | Scarf: Charming Charlie’s | Bag: Rebecca Minkoff Warm, warm, warm. Fur vests faux or real are the perfect way to stay warm during the bitterly cold months. I paired my vest…

Casual Wednesday: Mustard Yellow

Wine shades of the world, beware. Mustard yellow is quickly becoming a fall staple that’s here to stay. As much as I love deep red tones in the Fall/Winter, I still find myself searching for other season appropriate colors. I love wearing this muddied yellow color as it’s bright and alive but clearly not something you pulled out of your Summer wardrobe. Let’s take a look.. Cardigan: Aqua, similar | Blouse: Loft | Denim: JBRAND | Booties: Steve Madden | Bag: Chloe, similar I wore this to my cousin’s 6th birthday party last weekend. As I’ve said before with these booties,…

Fashion Friday: Leather Skirts

I’ve been looking for a nice leather skirt for the longest time. Fortunately for my bank account and PETA, I haven’t found a perfect one just yet, but I have found a perfect FAUX leather skirt. This week, I paired it with a oversized blouse, trench coat and suede booties. It’s the perfect casual meets dressy look. Blouse: Romeo and Juliet | Skirt: Tinsel | Shoes: Steve Madden | Coat: Guess I love wearing an oversized shirt or sweater with a skirt. It’s so much more comfortable than wearing a tight shirt tucked in. Pairing a flowy feminine blouse with…
