Today I’m talking about something I haven’t spoken much about. I’m covering outfits for the office for those of you that work a corporate job. Working in fashion tends to have a more lenient dress code so my current style mirrors that. But, since I’ve worked in plenty environments that limited what I could and could not wear, I know a good corporate look when I see it. So I wanted a share a look that’s great for a corporate casual dress code!
When I started thinking about this look I knew I wanted it to be affordable. I love investing in accessories, but clothing I sit in all day at work doesn’t have to cost hundreds of dollars in my book. I also didn’t want to choose typical brands and items that you may already have (think Loft, Banana Republic and H&M). I paired this look with my new Yosi Samra slides. While I realize corporate dress code probably hasn’t become relaxed enough for slides, I always love having a pair of slip-on shoes for to and from work. At my last more corporate job, I always had a pair or two of shoes under the desk anyway. Don’t you?! These slides are perfectly cute and comfortable to run errands before work in and some dinner or drinks after work!

I’m wearing an S/M in the blouse and an S/M in the cardigan and both fit true to size. I’m wearing a size 7 in the Yosi Samra slides, I’m usually a 6 1/2 so I sized up and they fit perfect.
I came across two really great options for handbags. I know not everyone has or wants a Celine bag so I found a very affordable version and a less expensive designer version, both which are equally appropriate for work. Owning a structured black bag for work will make your look overall more polished. It’s also great to throw everything you need in it! Let’s be honest, my bag needs to be able to carry my lunch and snacks too!
