I had my top lip filled with Juvederm once back in 2015 and it was probably one of the most traumatic experiences of my LIFE. It is so weird to look at yourself and only see a fat lip. A week later it looked fine and I liked how it looked but that initial week was too traumatic for me. I know a lot of people love fillers, and I definitely don’t judge because some people look SO good with fillers. But they’re just not for me. Since then I decided, for now, I never want to alter my face in any dramatic way again. (The fillers felt dramatic for me, OK.)
I’ve always loved skincare and makeup, so my next best bet on making me feel better about my regular lips and the bags under my eyes was skincare and makeup. I barely have enough patience to sit and get a mani/pedi, so another thing I definitely won’t sit and do is eyelash extensions. Luckily there are PLENTY of products that work out there that will naturally enhance your beauty. Since I’ve come across quite a few products I love, I wanted to share them today.
5 Products That Will Naturally Enhance Your Beauty
1. Dr. Dennis Gross Alpha Beta Glow Pads and Coola Sunless Tan & Anti-Aging Serum.
I mean who doesn’t look and feel better with a tan?! Name someone, I’ll wait… I love the Dr. Dennis Gross wipes because they almost instantly make you tan. If you want a gradual tan, I love Coola’s sunless tan. Both give you a natural look like you walked in from a day running around outside in the Summer.
2. Eyelash Primer
Enhance your lashes with primer, it is a game-changer! It’s such a great way to make your lashes look fuller and thicker, sans eye-lash extensions. My favorite? The Voluminous Primer by L’Oreal.
3. Strivectin Lip Plumper
This gloss makes you look like you ate too much salt the night before. Which is a look I like, just a bit poutier and most importantly very natural! I’ve tried a lot of different lip pumpers since that one time I tired a filler and I love Strivectin.
4. Collagen
I love Vital Proteins or Collagen vitamins. I can tell when I stop taking my vitamins or drinking my collagen in my coffee. My skin gets duller and I look tired. I think my hair also looks shiner too!
5. Color Correcting Concealer
So I have hereditary bags under my eyes that are made worse by my deviated septum in my nose. That said, few things actually help my under-eye bags. I use green concealer for my more red/pink areas, orange for blue areas followed by my regular concealer. Another game-changer.
I wanted to talk about products that naturally enhance your beauty today vs. tips because I think we all know the tips by now. Drink enough water, get enough sleep, blah blah blah. But the reality of life is that that’s not always the reality and it doesn’t always help. So I hope you like these products suggestion and I would love to know if you try any and if they help you too!
