Two weeks ago I hosted the launch of an exclusive Schutz sandal at the Shoe Box in Flatiron in New York City! It was the first event I’ve hosted in the city so I was a bit nervous. Wouldn’t you be? But what I love about hosting events is that I also get to meet all of you that love and follow my blog. It’s great when you get to meet your internet friends IRL! There were giveaways, sweets, rosé, and shopping! The perfect mix for a fun night out!
The Shoe Box has a wide variety of shoes both in style and price point. As a shoe store, I feel like they have the best of every brand. I also found these white sandals by Carmen Sol that are perfect for Summer!
I say this all the time, step out of your comfort zone. Nothing great is accomplished inside of the room you box yourself into to feel safe. When I’m asked to host events, it’s the most exciting and scary conflict that goes on in my head every time. But what I’ve learned is that you just have to push the negative thoughts and worries out of your head. Nothing will end up as bad as you think it will, especially if you don’t obsess over the bad.
