Always stand by your friends and family while they struggle. I’ve always appreciated my friends that have stood by me through difficult times. Being a 20-something, I’m always working, going to school (done for now thank god) and in general always doing something, so the people who understand this and stand by me have always been the ones I appreciate the most. When you’re working hard it’s difficult to give the little time you have to every single person. As a friend or family member, be understanding. Lose the wining assholes who keep complaining that you don’t see them enough or why is school/work more important than me, blah blah blah, nonsense. If they can’t understand your priorities you don’t need them in your life.
This week I challenge you as a friend or family member to be understanding . If you miss someone, let them know, sometimes when you’re doing 1,000 things you don’t realize that someone wants your time. As that person doing 1,000 things I challenge you to make the time and prioritize. You need to make time for the people you love. Don’t speed by life either.
Finally, always strive towards finding balance. To remind myself I’ve purchased a Lokai bracelet:
If you don’t know about them, check them out. They have a pretty great concept if you ask me. I hope you enjoyed this post! Thanks for reading!
