I am the QUEEN of biting off more than I can chew. For as long as I can remember I’ve always been doing what others would call too much. Whether it was sports (aka cheerleading and gymnastics, did you think I actually did common sports? haha never – nothing else came as easy), after school activities, clubs, job(s), making time for my friends and family, working out, volunteering; I always did as much as I possibly could. I still do this today. Granted, I didn’t do all these things consecutively everyday, but spaced out over a lifetime it’s definitely a lot, at least for me. I always push myself to the point of burn-out. I can’t explain it, but even then I always feel I should be doing more.
Today, I challenge you to make the effort to do everything that you want. Prioritize and make the time. Personally, I’m always going on a schedule. I always know what time it is, I have to. I can’t miss the next “appointment,” because then it just throws off my day. Or even worse, I could be late (honestly a moral sin in my book); I guess you could say I’m a little neurotic. Ok maybe a lot. But, if you don’t work hard for what you want and put your all into everything you do, how will you ever be great? Make a schedule and make time to do everything you love. It’s always worth it.
