When it comes to my style, I love classic pieces that you can wear again and again. I find this look has an overall 70s feel to it, because of the thigh high boots and mini skirt. The best part is, separately, all these items are neutral and classic. Everything can be worn so many different ways!
Investing in classic items is important because these items you can wear again and again. To name a few, a black blazer, white/ black blouse, skinny jeans, black boots ect. are all versatile items. Is my zip camel faux suede skirt classic? I’d say not so much. But, the neutral color allows me to manipulate my style when paired with classic items like my SW thigh high boots. Hello modern 70s chic!
This is another look where nothing I’m wearing is very new. As someone who tries to promote an overall healthy and positive lifestyle, it’s important for my to be economical. Constantly buying from Fast Fashion stores, although sometimes inevitable, has a negative impact on some people and our environment. So, the next time you’re hitting checkout at H&M or Zara, think twice about what you really need. Could this be the 3rd white blouse you’re purchasing this year? Did the other two already disintegrate because of the quality? These are good questions to always have in the back of your mind.
