Anyone else having a problem with gifts they ordered not arriving? Or scheduled to arrive after Christmas? Procrastinated for too long now you have no gifts? I’m there with you. So this week I took a trip up to the SoNo Collection in Norwalk, Connecticut to grab a few last-minute gifts.
Located 35 minutes from lower Westchester County and about an hour from New York City, the SoNo Collection opened its doors in 2019 and I’ve been in love ever since. I’m a Libra, what can I say I wear my heart on my sleeve. It’s not often a new mall opens with both Nordstrom and Bloomingdale’s, along with H&M (including a dedicated home section!!), Zara, Lush and, my personal favorite the Amazon 4-Star store.
Upon arrival, I was truly impressed with the contact-free parking payment option. You don’t even have to download an app, it’s as easy as sending a text! And there were reminders at the elevators to ride one family at a time. I instantly felt at ease.
Additional safety precautions included hand sanitizer stations throughout the mall, at every register, and when you walk in every store! Along with walking guides (so you’re not bumping into anyone) and reminders to stay six feet apart.

Gifts I Purchased and Gift Ideas:
Stocking Stuffers: I needed a few extra little items (things under $10) so Lush was an easy go-to. Their bath bombs smell amazing and make the perfect little add on to any gift and can also be so thoughtful solo with a handwritten card.
Nordstrom and Sephora both have great giftable selections for the beauty lover in your life!
Must-Have Gifts: My mom has been dying for the Revlon one-step hairdryer so when I saw it in the Amazon 4 Star Store I grabbed it. They also had silicone baking sheets, iPhone chargers, wine stoppers, cookbooks, gifts for kids and pets… there is an item there for everyone on your list! The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful.
For Him: I grabbed sweat pants from Champ’s and some sweats from H&M. There’s also an UNTUCKit where you can get him the perfect shirt!

It felt so good to get out of the house and to shop in person. We ate at La Picante and the food was soooo good. My mom and I split the crispy chicken wrap, perfect fuel for some more shopping.
