Regarding style, luxury for me is directly aligned with comfort. With a wide (-ish) foot and a high instep finding shoes whose style I love but are also comfortable has been an upward battle. And now, two pairs in, Freda Salvador has become a mainstay in my shoe wardrobe.
So far I’ve tried the Jada Handwoven Ballet Flat in silver and black, the Elba Penny Loafer in black spazzolato and the Sera Fisherman Sandal in stucco suede. So, my takeaways will come from these two styles. I plan on updating this post as I add more!

Freda Salvador Shoe Review & Style Guide
Freda Salvador Shoe Sizing
First, the community is next level. You rarely find item reviews that aren’t flooded with complaints. The Freda community gives the best advice with each Freda Salvador shoe review. They share their pain points, and their sizing in other shoes, size in other brands, and they break it down in the comments on their site. It was probably the most helpful thing I did when deciding on my size.
Freda Salvador Jada Handwoven Ballet Flat Review
I purchased the Jada handwoven ballet flat in a size 7, my normal size. The fit is perfect and I was blown away by how incredibly soft the leather is. They almost mold to your feet and allow you to move naturally, and comfortably.
I did about an 8k step day in these and I did get a blister on the back of one foot, but that was because I didn’t wear peds socks. Rookie mistake, I know. Otherwise, with normal wear, I have not had a problem with blisters or marks anywhere on my feet.
I have had no issues with tightness over the top of my foot. With most flats that come up midway above the toes I tend to get a deep mark with all-day wear due to my high instep, these do not do that.

Freda Salvador Elba Penny Loafer Review
I purchased the Elba penny loafer in a size 7.5, 1/2 larger than my normal size, 7. I’m happy I went up half a size because these are made to last. The craftsmanship of these is so sturdy, they’re the kind of loafers that will look good forever.
I’ve worn these to run errands, an event in New York City, and dinner. I have had zero discomfort and I also love the fit of these. With a wider foot loafers can sometimes pinch to the top and sides of my feet, these hold their shape but are not tight. I did choose to go up a half-size so I would not have any issues with the tightness on the sides.
Freda Salvador Sera Fisherman Sandal Review
I wear the Freda Salvador Sera Fisherman Sandals in my normal size, 7. They have a nice amount of room in the toe so I could have gone with a 6.5. But they are not big in the back, so I have no issues with my heel sliding out. and the suede soles are so comfortable.
They have a suede foot bed but I’ve worn these on one of the hottest days in July and my feet did not sweat! There is some buckling of the center horizontal strap (I’ve walked a lot in these!) but otherwise, the suede still looks amazing after wearing them for a few months. I can see myself wearing these well into the fall with socks.
