Sezane Spring Capsule Wardrobe – 12 Pieces, 48 Outfits

This Spring I’m sharing more capsule wardrobes starting here with the Sezane Spring Capsule Wardrobe, using 12 pieces to create 48 outfits! You may have a lot of these staples in your closet already, but if you don’t this guide will help you figure out what you need. While a capsule wardrobe doesn’t have to come all from the same brand, I love setting the stage with just one. Designers, creative directors, and the like create collections that tell a story. And give a great deal of focus to making each collection they launch cohesive. So the story, colors, prints,…

Everlane Spring Capsule Wardrobe

As many of you know, I update all my capsule wardrobe posts each season. Last year, I told myself I would not add any new capsule wardrobe posts to my site, but I couldn’t skip this. It’s a space where I learned to accept defeat, yet try it again until I can truly enjoy the fruits, or chicken, of my labor. While I’m not a master chef my enjoyment of cooking does give me…

Quilted jackets are timeless and one of the best grab-and-go items in your closet. They’re like a warm hug on a cool spring day. Or a pleasant layer in the late fall when the temperature starts to drop. If you want to be a master of transitional dressing a quilted jacket is exactly what your wardrobe needs. If you’re doing the online hunt on your own, quilted jackets have a few different names. Known as liners or shells, they may also be referred to as coats. I’ve also seen padded parkas, car coats even insulation jackets. What they all have…
