It’s not an overstatement to say that flip flops are in every girl’s closet. I can’t help but dig them out the second a warm Spring day hits New England. Do Archies Flip Flops Run Big or Small?
I found Archies flip-flops to be true to size. If you are a half-size, they recommend sizing up to the nearest full size. Depending on the shape of your foot and the width of your foot, you may need to give the bands a slight stretch to provide more space. I have a very high instep and arch, and I didn’t need to do this. If you have narrow feet, I think you’ll appreciate the security of the straps.
Without talking too much about materials (I’ll cover that under comfort), Archies footwear is made to mold to your feet after a day or two of wear. So no matter the size and shape of your foot, you can expect them to become more comfortable over the first week of wear.
Finally, for reference, I’m a US women’s size seven, and I found the seven to be the perfect fit. They’re available in women’s sizes 5-16.
How Long Do Archies Flip Flops Last?
When it comes to the quality of the product, I want to start by discussing the materials and design.
First, footbed is made with a closed cell foam material that molds to the shape of your foot. From their website, I found they use premium synthetic materials that are found in most other sneakers, shoes, and ordinary flip flops. The materal is non-toxic and recyclable.
The one-piece design makes these durable. So you no longer have to fumble around to find your flip-flops in two pieces. While the design itself makes the flip flop look thicker, I found them to be very light on my feet. From my personal experience, they offer great support if you’re on your feet for long periods of time.
While I have read that these flip flops last 1-2 summers with regular wear. So far after wearing them consistently for three months these really are the best flip flops. They still look and feel great! So much so I can’t wear any of my other pairs without feeling how loose and uncomfortable they feel.
