The Harvest Inn is one of my favorite places on earth, and I actually spent a quick non-traditional babymoon here with my mom. Breakfast comes with your stay and it’s not just any breakfast. It’s a three-course meal that is so good this could be my top pick! Have your meals on the wrap-around porch or inside at the beautiful wood dining table. The Sagamore Resort is a popular spot and was one of my favorite vacations last Summer. I stayed during the Summer and it was the perfect time of year. The pools and lake views were so relaxing. I love that everything is on-site, so once you arrive there’s no reason to leave. They even have a spa that offers pre-natal massages. Lake George is one of the best places to visit in New York once you have a family, making a babymoon the perfect opportunity to get acclimated! You’ll find plenty of families here, so you could even bring your new baby or toddler with you. The vast amenities and fact that you can stay on-site are what land it on my best New England Babymoon destinations! Important to note for expectant moms, if you find yourself venturing off the property I highly recommend stopping at Ben & Jerry’s! Ice cream was always my go-to cure for my pregnancy heartburn.

One of the most breathtaking and hospitable places on the list, Ocean House Rhode Island is a luxury babymoon. With three restaurants on-site, seasonal pop-ups (like the Sipping Terrace, Gondola Village in the Winter, or Veuve Cliquot Secret Garden), and a spa (with pre-natal massage options), there are ample experiences to enjoy. If you like spending quality time with your significant other, coastal towns, and being pampered this will be your perfect babymoon!

If you like history and cooking, the Inn at Hastings Park is New England babymoon is the ideal place for you. They offer complimentary breakfast, in-room massages (must be booked in advance), and cooking classes hosted by owner and chef, Ms. Pérez Kennealy. Visiting Lexington Green (the first battleground of the American Revolution!) is a unique experience and there’s also some historic architecture like the Stone Building, constructed in 1833! This would be such a special gift to give a first time mom who has enjoyed cooking (and eating for two!) during her pregnancy.

If you like the outdoors and being active, North Conway, New Hampshire is the perfect New England babymoon for you. It’s also super affordable if you stay at the Comfort Inn & Suites! I was surprised to find that it’s a really nice hotel! The rooms were clean and it was a perfect place to relax after eating, hiking, and taking a ride on the Conway Scenic Railroad! It wasn’t quite a walking distance into town it was a short 4-minute drive and parking was available. My husband and I went with our friends and their toddler and it was a perfect New England vacation! If you think of yourself as outdoorsy parents-to-be this is the trip for you!

Foxwoods is so much more than a casino and it’s the perfect New England babymoon destination during any season. I’ve been around 10 times and frequently get a complimentary room upgrade! Get yourself a prenatal massage at the G Spa and swim around the indoor pool in the colder months. The GSpa has some of the best spa treatments I’ve ever experienced, I give the best pedicures and most relaxing facials. You can even get a spa day pass for $80 and it’s a great way to spend the day. In the hotter seasons enjoy the outdoor pool and get in your steps in the ice-cold AC (or check out the Pequot Walking Trails!), while you walk from outlet shopping at the Tanger Outlets to lunch all under the same roof!

If a Broadway show and an upscale brunch are your styles then the WestHouse Hotel in New York City is your babymoon destination. Included in the daily rate is breakfast and dinner on the 23rd floor. It’s a short walk to Central Park, Carnegie Hall, The Museum of Modern Art, and Times Square. If you like romantic getaways there’s something so magical about New York City, any time of year.
Cape Cod

While I’ve only visited Cape Cod for a bachelorette, this is a perfect choice for a babymoon. From the breathtaking scenic drives (take Route 6A, Old King’s Highway!) to the quaint small towns, I recommend this trip in your second trimester. There’s so much to see and do, I couldn’t imagine myself having the energy to do it all towards the end of my pregnancy. You don’t want to miss the live music at Chatham Bars Inn or the Lobster rolls at Caroline’s Bar and Grill. And if inclusive resorts are important to you, there are quite a few to choose from!

While I’m not a big South Fork, Long Island girl, I couldn’t close out this post without sharing Gurney’s Montauk Luxury Hotel & Spa. Finally, just remember your babymoon should be about you! And while I could find all of these destinations romantic, babymoon getaways don’t have to be a traditional vacation with your partner. Take a babymoon with your mom, best friend, or cousin, just find someone and somewhere you find relaxing to take a break! Whethers its a day trip or a week-long vacation, the best thing you can do is take time for yourself before your new baby arrives.
