I think it’s important to be comfortable at home but still look cool. I’m not saying you need to have a fully coordinated home wear chic section of your closet, but you shouldn’t be wearing red and purple pajamas with holes in them (causing you to look like a monster that crawled out of a hole, ie. not cute). You don’t have to invest a ton of money into comfortable weekend clothing to wear at home either, but you should revamp your at home look every so often. I always try to feel good about myself as often as possible, even when I’m relaxing at home. I personally don’t ever feel amazing in shitty pjs (you know the ones I’m talking about). So to me, that means keeping my comfy look cute enough that I can run out in the same outfit (or close to the same) if necessary. It’s also very strategic if you think about it, no need for multiple outfits, which means less laundry (score)!
Here are some tips:
- Sunday clothes don’t have to be pajamas. I love wearing robe like cardigans to lounge in. If you have to run out quick, then just throw on some pants!
- Matching separates are your friend. Misguided kills it in the comfy material department, so your every day leggings and crop top can totally double as homeward.
- Adidas sweats anyone? So easy, comfy and fashion forward. Pair with white sneakers for an Saturday morning coffee run!
