It’s no secret I love denim on black. I’ve been wearing the combination so often lately as an alternate neutral to all black or nudes (very outside the box, I know, kidding!). It’s a look that all my favorite it-girls are always wearing casual, but being that I’m not 5″10′ and my legs aren’t as long, I decided to dress it up and make this look fit me. Lets take a look..

Just to give you an idea, these are the styles I was trying to mimic:
An oversized tee/top and denim shorts are flattering on most body types. I love wearing heels because they elongate my legs, so I had to pair my look with some cute Summer heels. This is a perfect look to pack if you’re going away for Memorial Day Weekend.
