BLOUSE: FOREVER 21, SIMILAR HERE | DENIM: AG | SHOES: IVANKA TRUMP | BAG: CHLOE | SUNGLASSES: KATE SPADE

When I purchase an item, I really love it – promise. I’m not the type of person that easily gets rid of things either (I know it’s one of my less endearing traits). So, I always try to invest in classic pieces that can essentially stay in my wardrobe “forever” or until they disintegrate. In doing this, I’m constantly challenged to mix in my old with my new. I love my classic white denim, so I’m careful when I purchase new pairs. I don’t have any white ripped denim, so that’s were my next purchase would be.

Tips on mixing old and new:

1. Know what you have, so that when you want to purchase new items you are truly able to get new items.

2. Always take very good care of you things (tide-to-go pen on standby always) and store them properly. My white denim always gets put in a place where other dyes won’t rub off onto them (ie. not sandwiched in between dark wash denim).

3. Don’t be afraid to re-wear! If you purchase classic items, you should never be afraid to wear them again and again. A denim shirt, white jeans, black blouse and LBDs are not mean’t to be worn once! Grab those inexpensive trendy items and mix them in!

Interesting match up of strappy bra & strappy sandal. I also really like how you’ve laced it right over the jean. Looks great!
